The Hotel Monopol Frankfurt can look back on a long tradition as a hotel: it was founded and built in 1906 by the Swiss family of Franz Herrlein.

It survived the Second World War almost intact and was the first hotel able to re-open after the war in the largely destroyed city of Frankfurt.

During the conferences on currency reform, the hotel accommodated numerous conference delegates from the world of politics and business.

The hotel has retained its fin-de-siècle charm and has an appeal that is unique in Frankfurt today. The successful combination of modern technology, superior design and historical style has led to a constant increase in the numbers of delighted customers.
